No. 10506 Specimen Note unissued and cancelled with small star cut outs in the signature boxes. Five dollar scrip note, #10506. There is a vignette of Miner on center front. An impressive mining scene with counters on either side appears on the reverse. Note is in Fine condition with little discoloration and some creasing with album hinges on reverse. From the John J. Ford, Jr. Collection. $3,500.

Advertising note for ten dollars. Lithographed with imprint of Pictorial Printing Co. Chicago. Printed on reverse in blue ink “To any one who is economically inclined the face value of this note is $10. It entitles the bearer to genuine bargains in Reliable Goods, and is a guaranty of fair and reasonable prices. Beware of Counterfeits.”  Vignette of woman in red ink appears on the front. This note is in Very Fine condition with light stain at bottom center and faint creasing. From the John J. Ford, Jr. Collection.  $3,500.
