INGOTS
This is Part II of the Franklin US Mint and US Assay Office silver ingot collection. The third part will be offered in Auction #17 scheduled for the fall of 2002. Please see the Auction #13 catalog for more information on Paul Franklin and these wonderful ingots. Mr. Franklin spent years in correspondence with various US Mint and Assay Office officials trying to get them to make him five ounce ingots. Some cooperated, some didn’t.
